Selpic Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 1, 2026

Selpic groups burst and back-to-back photos in your library and keeps only the photos you pick. It reads capture information for the photos you allow it to access on your device to build these groups, and excludes screenshots and hidden photos. Favorites, burst frames you picked yourself, and photos that cannot be deleted are always kept. When you confirm, Selpic asks Apple's Photos library to delete the remaining photos. Photo access is used only for this feature. If you allow limited access, Selpic works only with the photos you allowed.

Selpic does not send photos, capture times, photo identifiers, or usage records to any developer server. It has no accounts, ads, analytics, or tracking, and the developer does not store any user data. Your burst interval setting is saved in the app's settings on your device and may be included in system backups and restores.

When showing a photo that is stored only in iCloud, Apple's Photos framework may use the network to download it. If you use iCloud Photos, deletions may also apply to your other devices signed in to the same account. This follows your Apple Photos and iCloud settings.

Photos are deleted only after the system confirmation. Deleted photos can usually be recovered from Recently Deleted in the Photos app for up to 30 days. They may not be recoverable under conditions set by Apple, such as when you delete them permanently or your iCloud storage is full. Selpic does not provide its own photo backup or recovery service.

You can change or revoke photo access for Selpic in iOS Settings. Deleting the app removes its settings from your device. Deleting the app does not undo deletions already applied to your photo library.
